A5 acrylic painting

This is the tree from my dreams, in one part it is oak and in the other the apple tree and by that it contains the qualities of both masculine and famine, it gives strength, but it nurtures as well. It symbolises the real and the world beyond the mists, the outside and inside, the shadow and the light. Since both oak and apple were crucial parts in Celtic beliefs, the tree represents the sacredness of them both, of dualism that in fact is but one, a complete wholeness.

[the colours of this digitalized version are not reflecting the real ones, which are in fact much more earth tones, but I don't know how to fix it and not make it too dark and blurry]
