This is hilarious in the best type of way. That smile gets me.
The only issue I have with it, is the effect. The green/blue and red pull in opposite directions leaves a feel of less that authentic. This looks like a digital painting, but that is a photo edit effect. I own many premium photo editing tools and I am fully aware that both effects can be achieved with the same tool.
As someone that uses those tools, it stands out as something vastly different from a digital painting. It is odd that someone would put so much effort in painting every detail, only to throw a quick photo effect on it. I have a feeling it would make others, who use these tools, to come to the same conclusion.
It looks great. Overall, it is a nice touch. First thing that hits the eye is the photo effect, though. An average person would see the thumbnail, see the effect, assume it's a photo-manipulation, and move on. That's my own opinion though. I am vastly unqualified to make most of those claims.

Upon reviewing your gallery, and realizing your main audience would be for advertising. I find the effect very nice.
