Hostility makes a very interesting subject for artwork, but truthfully, I'm one of the most pacifistic people you'll know. People that know me well can attest that I'm sort of a bleeding heart. It hurts me to even harm insects. Violence, death and misery grieve me deeply. I think fondly of a time that people will set aside their differences and learn to live together.

Shasalis and Amnis are two completely different creatures--a gold heart and a black heart. I thought them appropriate.
