I admit it. I'm a freaking nerd. I grew up on this, man! I loved it. And Billy was always my favorite. He was this overlooked, nerdy, 'oh god please don't hit me' sort of guy with over sized glasses and a bad case of overalls. He used big words in such a way that it sounded like even HE didn't understand what he was saying, and it wasn't until halfway through the 2nd season did he actually learn how to kick something when he wasn't in his suit.Otherwise it was 'guys? Help?' I thought it was awesome they would include such a loser in a show like that. I use the term affectionately. They did cop out in the end and made Billy 'cool' by 90s kids standards (which I'm not sure how cool that is XD) since he lost his glasses, got puffier spikier hair and stopped wearing those goddamn overalls.
In any case, I loved Billy. I liked the others too, but Billy was awesome-ER. Take that, other guys.
So I don't even know how many of you guys actually watched that show or just thought it was a piece of crap, but it doesn't matter, I had fun drawing it and that's what counts. Right? *crawls back to nerd hole*

Oh Billy, thanks to one episode he has a special place in my heart. Generic Villain of the Week was busting things up and then, without having to turn into the hugemoungous robot he kicks its butt with his triceratops alone. I think that one episode was the only one I remember because of how surprising it was to not have to turn into a big robot.
ANYWAY
This picture is rockin' with the colors and action. I like his expression of uneasiness too.

The first one for SNES from bandai (the sidescroller). Billy had the best combo on that one, the best everything. I only played the genesis game (the first one, the fighting game) once, but I know I picked him on that one too.

*sigh* it's been so long, those were the good old days. The only other season I actually like to Power Rangers is the SPD (were they were galaxy police). That was the best saga by far. Best action & choreography, best characters and location, best everything (my favorite on that one was the Red Ranger).

i liked the series: turbo, in space, lost galaxy, and zeo... but some of the newer ones have lost the magic and made it to childish and humorous.

awww I haven't seen a lot of them. But I remember SPD was a lot of fun to watch (and the original was a given favorite since i was a kid right around that time). Yeah, the new ones are terrible, ESPECIALLY Ninja force (or something like that). Meh, the new dino rangers needs more better characters. They have this new show on KTLA that plays on saturday mornings. It's a new powerrangers like show (but up to date and a different premise) that's REALLY good actually. Interesting people and an actual dark and more serious story for what it is (i was surprised). Forgot the name, but that's a pretty good one.

I wanna see more Kamen Rider, I agree it's good. Have you ever seen Live Action Sailor Moon? That's one of the best things I ever seen.

I was also a power ranger nerd. After school, animaniacs (which is also amazing) and power rangers were on in succession, then of course all the kids in the neighborhood (all 5 of us) got together and played power rangers.
Four of us were girls, however . . . and we all wanted to be the yellow ranger. Cause she was cooler than the pink one.
I still even remember some of the lines. LIke "Make my monster grooooowwww!"

Well THIS brings back memories...
I was still getting over the "girls must like pink" hump back then so I didn't really see his charm until I stopped emulating Kimberly. XD
To be honest the only episode I really remember is when that pig dude zaps himself into Tommy's stomach and Tommy's like, eating all over the place and stealing people's nachos and crap, and everybody's like, "Tommy! You can't eat, those nachos, they're BAD for you!" And the pig's all dancing around in his stomach in a rain of food... it was a really weird episode. Actually I think Billy was the one who zapped the pig guy back out again.

Wasn't it in the first episode they get attacked by... whatever standard goon they were getting with at the time, and there's a whole scene of the goons rushing the Power Rangers and, right before one of the goons tries to wail on Billy, there's a whole, "hold up guys, gotta take my glasses off," moment?
I could be making that up. Made up fond memories of Billy. I damn well can tell you I don't have random fond, potentially made up, memories of the other Power Rangers.
