This costume is an original armored design I created based off of The Scarlet Witch. I spent about 2 weeks on this design and went through several iterations because I painted a final version.
The costume in total took me about 4 months to make from start to finish. (This was with me working about one day a weekend and on the evenings after work for a few hours).
The armor was made all with Worbla and an extensive smoothing process which consisted of wood filler, gesso, and primer. (I sanded between each layer, and the gesso and primer were both layered twice).
The thigh high boots, leotard, gloves, and cape were all custom made patterns for this costume. All of the gems were cast in a light pink dyed resin and the LED's were put into the resin while it was curing. All of the gems light up and are running off of 3V coin batteries hidden underneath the armor pieces.
The corset is all worbla, and consists of both back lacing and a zipper in front that is hidden behind a plate that snaps over it. It needed to open in 2 areas so I could take it on and off.

IIRC I saw you at WC. You really nailed the costume and the vibe. As much as I prefer strapless Wanda, I understand why you wore straps, and you made it work all the same.

Somuch more detail, style and feeling that what those other so called expert cosplayers, whose name sounds like Yaya *coughs* and frankly a more beautiful woman. I am astounded and though the male in me on some level agrees with the suggestive comments this is a work of art, a masterpiece.

I am not disrespecting the amount of work that she and ones like you put into these creations, and yes it is art of many kinds put together. It is imagination, sculpting using multiple media types, the models own art of the body and acting too. Thats where I think Yaya has lost herself. She creates or has created for her, she models and some find her attractive but I do think her ego has gotten too big and it shows. Especially on her Heroes of Cosplay show on SyFy.
You most certainly are an Artist. Big A.

I'll keep an eye out for it because that's a neat costume, and I'd like to see all of it. I have a friend who does cosplay, and I know how much work goes into it. She was particularly proud of her female Loki outfit.

I am currently working on a costume for Comikaze (which I will be making tutorial videos for) as well as a masquerade demoness costume
And I am not sure yet....I'm a little iffy on them.

Well, good luck at Comikaze! In the fall, around October, we have the New York Comic Con, which I'm really looking forward to. There's tons of people, in costume and not.
I really hope that such a big cast for 'Avengers 2' will be done well. I know I will like it, I just hope the rest of the audience will enjoy it, too.

Wow! OAO Now THAT'S a cosplay! For what I saw of Scarlet Witch, her costume was kinda simple, with not much details. Now your cosplay sure has these missing details. I mean, it give much more textures and life to it. Especially the Helmet. Really nice job!
