SO.. i decided to add a few more shots.. i kept telling meself i should but i never ever did.. sorry. here they are.. other shots.. im thinking about repainting this now that i have my new paints... what are all your thoughts on that idea? i was told i should make a black and flame gryphon... hmmm?
this is a gryphon miniature moddled after the gryphon in the dungeons and dragons monster manual, i made it for an icon for my black gryphon char i got to play hehehe its in dnd miniatures lingo, a large size category creature but still very small as you can see... so i made this at school with my friend then we went home and i finished it at her house then at like what.. 4 am we baked it in the ovan and i painted it at home the next day lolz

Very well done. I love the pose, and toe coloration looks good. Personally, I don't know that it needs to be changed, but then, I also don't know what you have in mind.

How in the world do you sculpt something so small? And with so much detail? You must have had so much fun

for the most part. i make any matter of fantasy or animals. i dont generaly make humans.. but ill atempt faries, angels and demons or furries. but i will not do machinery, objects or robots. thats about my limit. if i see something i can't do, ill tell you upfrount. but yes, if its requested, and references are supplied, i generaly will do it

i would need more detailed shots of the rest of the body as well as the armor, frount and back. but yea i could make that. in either metal or clay. but my prices arnt super cheap it would be 60 in clay (shipping included) and 100 in metal

Right on. Well, as I'm on a very tight budget (again) I'll have to get back to you. But that's the best shot I have of her. Anthro gryphon, very slim, lean body, and two sets of wings. Here's a good body shot [link] but the other one I sent you - the color one - that shows her face in such spookily accurate detail... lol I dunno, maybe a headshot? haha. All in good time tho. I'll let you know.

No, I just wanted to show you; in case you wanted to show him. Anthony is a very nice guy, he might like to see. That's all. I'm not accusing you of anything.

That's got to be a lot of fun! I've never done any metalwork of any sort, but the process fascinates me (as do the results). And you earned every kudo.

It is! i find it amazing to be able to have sculpted in wax... so light.... so fragil... then suddenly its metal.. so heavy and near unbreakable! its an amazing transition and for me, its mind blowing everytime.
you should try it sometime its an amazing thing to be able to do
i would extend the use of mine, but im sure you don't live anywhere near me haha. apparently you can pay a foundry to do it for you too. which is cool ^_^
also i love that fact i can drop it and it dosnt break!
