This is a very beautiful work! What program did you use for this? SAI? Photoshop? Illustrator? Is this all digital or did you scan in your sketch?

WOW!! I am very jealous you got some amazing line quality and sharpness to it! Great job! When I go all digital, my works have more of a shaky line so I like to scan more than I do full on digital but maybe I just need practice. Thank you for letting me know your 'secrets.' Tee hee hee

oh my gosh thank you
well i just do a new layer each time i put another line down so i can erase bits of it (cause i sweep the line further than it needs to go) and its in a new layer so the erasing doesnt effect the other lines and then i merge the layer down so it doesnt get cluttered with heaps of layers. my hand pretty much hovers over ctrl z cause i take many attempts for each line. though for some of the lines i use the bendy line tool(lineart layer tool thing)cause thats also good for getting nice lines. (then i change the line color after its all done-- i probably should have made the lineart darker where theres shading but oh well)

Ah! That makes great sense! I always forget about merging down the layers when I am doing my line work. Thank you for the tip! I will have to try that the next time I work on an illustration.
Lineart layer tool? Is that just in Photoshop? I don't think I recall seeing that in SAI but maybe I haven't noticed it.
Thank you so much for your long reply! This has been very eye opening to me! Thank you again!!!

in sai next to the new layer thing theres a similar icon that says new linework layer and if you use that then when youre working on that layer it shows different tools or whatever like a line tool or curve tool and a pressure tool that lets you change the thickness of the line at different points which is really helpful sometimes.
you're welcome, i hope i described it properly so you can find it. good luck

WOW!!! I had no idea about that!!! I was always searching and searching for line tools and couldn't find them!! Thank you again so much! I was always just doing everything free hand on my Wacom tablet (to frustrating results sometimes. > ) so this is very fantastic news to me! Thank you again!!!
Big hugs!!!!
