Strong willed, agile and perseverant. She's proved several times that shes more than capable of looking after herself, but is it enough to win her this fight?
Another speed vs power fight, both girls have a good brain on them, So this should come down to the wire. 1 mistake from either could cost each of them dearly.

Before you ask, I used April from 2003 because I thought it suited the fight better, and I'm saving the original yellow jumpsuited April for a later match up

Oh, gosh...on the one hand, Elisa's trained for this sort of stuff...on the other hand, April's been with the TMNT so long, she's picked up some self defense moves, even training with Master Splinter. So...it really would come down to the wire. I'd go.....April, I guess.

I'm going with Eliza on this one. Though you chose the decidedly more capable April O'Neil from the 2003 TMNT, Eliza is a cop, and those ladies often box on the side because they are built for it. She has a natural fighting instinct, too. Though April's determination would make it a close fight.

Alright I'm gonna have to go with April freakin O'Niel on this one. I watched some Gargoyles back in the day, but spent a lot more time watching TMNT and playing TMNT II on the NES. Be awesome to see the heroes in a half shell ringside... just sayin

Now this is a strange but unique match up
Reporter vs. Officer.
Right there alone it would make one assume the Officer has the experience in combat over most any reporter. Yet, sometimes a reporter has to play some serious hardball and pit themselves shoulder deep in the muck of a story to capture and film it all without retreating.
Both these ladies have had surreal encounters with mutant/mythical creatures that do their part to battle evil doers, and have had to lend a hand many a time. So they are both familiar with danger and having to step up to a challenge when it comes down to it. And although one is an officer, she isnt going to be dragging a gun, mace, cuffs, or other peripheral items to this fight, just her fists. So they are somewhat on equal grounds.
But as far as head on fighting goes, and times we seen one of them being more so the kidnapped... It leaves the choice to suggest the more likely winner in a gloved fist clash would have to be....

heh, I think your forgetting which incarnation of April this is mate, This version of April can actually manage to not get herself kidnapped every bleeding minute of the day, and is capable of looking after herself. Elisa ( I spelt her name wrong in the match title 
April may never have truley set foot in the ring for a real match, So Elisa has a small advantage of experience, Surely the local police deparment has a gym for sparring, But I think Aprils got astrong shot here, Either girl makes a mistake, the other will capitalize on it bigtime. I think it'd be a battle of wills and wits rather than who can punch the hardest

Not to be mean 
but I know mainly the original April. This one lacks the age ole' awesome bananna colors and jump suit that made us all know her where-ever she might be, could spot her out in any crowd and know her by her attire spot on.
Grew up with my family on some of those 80s hit shows. TMNT being one, I avoided the new age revamps much as I can. Especially when they try to be unoriginal and make new age movies of classics that likely get driven head first into the dirt when they try to -modernize- them. God help us they dont do it to Thunder Cats, Voltron, DuckTails, or DarkWing Duck too.

I grew up on 80s TMNT too, and I actually really enjoyed 2003s reboot. It didnt try to hard, it took a new modern approach, and I think overall it worked.
Dont sweat it though, Im bringing Banana April into the fray later

And nowadays this -gritty- remake/modernization movement with old classics works for some, crashes for most others. But I like the 'original' as it paved the way.
