Made a updated ref for my big boii. :3
This old butt is 12yo this year. I created him back in 2009 and since the first day he was Nywele's mate.

He is calm, big softie heart, a good ruler and as his name suggest he is merciful.
His old name was Bakari, but since barbary lions territory has arabic language not swahili I changed his name.

Overall his design didn't changed since 2009. Some colors edits came from the confusing color pencil colors when I used to draw traditional art.
Design edit, I added Malka's ear tuff on him.

He is like, a lot older than Nywele, being around 2yo when she was a cub.
