Ariel's closest companion, and, contrary to his namesake, a tropical fish. A somewhat cowardly kid who often gets roped into Ariel's various adventures, though always comes through for his best friend. Flounder supports Ariel's dream of seeing the surface world, and has even alerted her to various findings to add to her collection, including the statue of Prince Eric. When Ariel accepts Ursula's deal to turn human, Flounder does his best to help her achieve her kiss with Eric, even getting in on some of Sebastian's schemes to smooth things along. Ultimately, Ariel gets her happily ever after, though Flounder will miss his best friend.
Flounder appears in the Kingdom Hearts series as part of Atlantica.
