The self-appointed leader of Fagin's gang of street dogs, a Jack Russel Terrier well versed in the art of street savoir faire. He meets Oliver one day and takes a liking to him, not having an appetite for cats, and unintentionally leads him back to his "home" at the docks. Dodger is many things; sly and crafty, but also kind and compassionate. He would do just about anything for his found family, even take on Sykes' loyal doberman hench-dogs. Dodger also comes to feel this way about Oliver, willing to rescue him from an (alleged) kidnapping, and even help rescue his new would-be owner, Jenny Foxworth. Really, this dog is the definition of cool.
