Finished September 11, 2016.
I've been wanting to draw this picture for a long time now. I had to sketch it on paper first in my mini notebook. Even though I never finished watching #ojamajodoremi , I felt like these two were similar~

Duck/ Ahiru from Princess Tutu and Harukaze Doremi from Magical/ Ojamajo Doremi

I love both shows and when I was little I used to have the dolls of the main Doremi Trio that I got from Toys R Us xD I still can't find the dvd that came with the dolls, though ; v ; gnrejigjneveroe - it hurts

Are the colors soft enough? I tried my best to make it more 90s to early 00s since PT was made around 02 and dunno about Doremi since I just used to see it when I was little
I'm in love with the way anime used to be painted, I just don't feel the same attachment when I look at the art from modern day anime nowadays. Sometimes I'll just pause Doremi and just lookv at the background art alone and cry//

This is actually one of the few art academy pieces I'm proud of and actually how I'd like to draw usually but it never comes out this way and my shading is inconsistent.
