Description I'm not really in the best mood today, so I shall make this as quick as possible.

Sketch of Rufus ShinRa, scanned and coloured in Open Canvas 3.0 Used a reference for that angle, though the pose was referred from one that was in my brain (okay, an action figure helped me too). It's bitchin' hard to find overhead shots Managed to snag a ShinRa logo for the little logolet in the corner...I purposely left out the "ShinRa Electric Power Company" bit on the logo Rufus is standing on because it just didn't look good, so I nixed it. Or I'm lazy; you decide.

What you're looking at here is a "cover" to this project, as if it were a cover to an artbook (I may add more text to it later...I dunno. DEFINITELY going to make a few fixes to it) So yes, there will be fan art of Rufus ShinRa and the Turks, and if y'all are nice, I'll throw in Sephiroth too (since he was in ShinRa...). I dunno. Depends on my mood...

So yeah. Rather proud of this piece, though I rather hate my artwork right now.

I am going to have to say, this is your best peice ever!
I really like the pose he is in, and that ession and one that really pulls the picure together, I also like how he is standing on the design on the floor with the blackground, It gives it a very interesting looking, as if he was playing DDR and didn't want anyone to know. I also, really like the veiwpoint, as if you were, sorta looking down on him. This is a amazing piece!

That's amazing! I don't know where to start... Rufus is again a object, the pose and first of all the perspective is outstanding, there's a real feeling/illusion of depth.

Oh my god...that pose is incredible O.o;; ...I seem to start off with that line a lot, don't I? x_x

But yeah...as I said, your style has matured so much since...years ago...o_O;...that the old stuff just can't compete with this. The clothing folds are what really sells this one, I gotta say, because to me, they look intricate and accurate enough to be real. They're all in the right place...something most of us younger and more inexperienced artists find impossible to duplicate x_x

The pose is bitchin' too...it's hard to find a reference for that without having to take a photo of a doll or something (hey there's an idea...*writes it down*), but guess who pulled it off? Birds-eye views are SOOOOO hard x_x;...you can now see why I have a habit of idolising you and similar artists X3

This one is going on my favourites...I really like it

I imagine that's the exact look Rufus gave Cloud and the others as he left the ShinRa Tower at the first battle, when he had Dark Nation at his side, *shakes a fist at Rufus* Damn you and your cocky prettiness!

I muchly like the pose you used as well - and you're right, overhead poses are too friggin' hard to find references for, You did an excellent job with this one, and I'm sorry to hear that you're not in a good mood. Is there anything I can do to help?
