Description
For those not familar with this guy, this is Chris "Vicious" Bianci, the main character from my fightingy-suspensy webcomic Common Grounds: The Battle ManiaX.But yeah; he's taken it upon himself to change the rules of the sign (note the Sharpie in his pocket), and as someone tries to call him on it, he's all "Dude; can't you read that sign?...but I AM the exception...it says so right there!" ...he's so bad.
...really, this started out as a random doodle. How it turned to this, I don't know. I actually intend to colour this. How? A miracle. That's all I'm saying. <.< >.>

Total, total love. His expression is prefect and I really like the body language. I love the humor here, and the personality you put into your characters.
My only critique is that the smoke could be a little wispier, but other than that it's lovely. (Although I'm not sure if lovely is a good term for describing Crist...)

Yeeeahhh, that would be Chris alright. Rules are like speed bumps to him. I'm glad you like the results of the lineart--it seems that bristol paper is the best to use for inking, as I've had much frustrations with it in the past, so I will be doing more with inks in the future.
Oh, and I'll share my secret of noses with you--when I build my faces, I sketch the nose as a circle at first--with the very outer parts of said circle being the nostrils! If you check any of my work from this year (and late last year), you should hopefully be able to see where that comes from.
...and you know, I *should* do some artwork with Chris and his authentic graffiti.

I really love how you chose to color this monochrome. It gives the picture a whole different feel. To me, that picture would look awesome on a shirt. (You have got to let me know when you'll start selling CG merch. I want a shirt very badly.)
It's always the doodles that turn into the masterpieces. I've concluded this. God forbid we draw anything when we actually want to.

I'm particularly pleased with the monochrome myself--especially since outside of pencils I've never attempted to "colour" something this way. As for a shirt...well, not saying anything as far as shirts go yet, but this image would be great on something. 
And I'm really, REALLY becoming convinced that doodles are always the winners...I should just stop trying on everything and let spontaneity take its course.

Hah, and considering Chris' history with tagging, this is perfect!
Also, is this just me or is this a younger Chris we're dealing with. He lookes a little less . . . edgy than the Christ in the comic. And his hair seems lighter too. Could at one point Chris be fond of the old peroxide?

I'm curious to see how a coloured version of this would look, but me being a fan of monochrome and greyscale stuff, I'm loving how it is right now
...Gotta love Sharpies, though my last one died I believe in the making of a laruku pic... it was Hyde or Ken I can't remember

I like the grayscale that you used. For some odd reason I keep thinking Sandman when I look at the colour scheme... I like the sign. Just the irony of it all (is it even ironic?) It'd make a nice shirt.
