Make sure you look at the big version! ^_^WGEH. x_x THIS took a while. Here's my best guess on how long:
- Sketched in OC (2hrs)
- Inked in OC (2.5hrs)
- Rose colored in PSP (3.5hrs)
- grass colored in OC (6hrs)
- dandelion fuzzies done in PSP (0.5hrs)
However, it was my intention all along to take a long time on this and make it good. T'is my character Rose lying in the grass, being melacholy as usual. Honest, she isn't ALWAYS like this, I just draw her angsty too often !
I think the grass turned out nice. I didn't use any reference and it was my first try at this sorta thing. It would have been absolutely impossible without my trusty Tablet, though. x___x
I am proud of this picture! Mwahah!

I don't see it as being very angsty, my kitty isis lays about for hours just resting, but of course she has periods of extreme activity as well. and of course, the piece is just lovely, im getting the hang of my tablet right now and I hope I can concoct cool stuff like this! rock on!

I really like the colouring, subtle-is, but still visible. ^_^ I was upset at it being so small, then realized that was only a small version. ^^;
