OH GOD THAT TITLE IS RIDICULOUS I DON'T EVEN THINK THAT'S KELP IT MIGHT BE ALGAE INSTEAD OR SOMETHING*Ahem*
This is my half of my third Art Trade with ~
This is her character, Fotia. C: She wanted a picture of this character as a mermaid, so here it is!
I kept her shirt the same, but I changed the color. Also, I didn't draw her antlers...>_>;; Please forgive me...=v=;;
I'd have to say that I am--surprisingly--extremely satisfied with the outcome.
(With the exception of the anatomically incorrect mermaid fin and the shade of blue that I used for the background)
I tried really hard to use a lot of color-mixing in this picture. Can you tell...? OuO
The sketch for this was probably the best sketch I've ever made. I posted in on Tumblr because I liked it so much.
Her smile and eyes looked softer in the sketch, and I'm a bit disappointed that the inking stage ruined that original softness...
But her expression is still really calm, so it's alright.

Okay,I'll split it in two parts:
Positive:
I really like the hair! The Coloring and the view is very beautiful and VERY well done.

AND the grass is cool,how it moves in the water...as good as the bubbles,they're looking really realistic!*yeyy*

Negative:The Tail doesn't lokk as realistic as I would wish it to be...It's too...thin at the end! (Aaaah,my english *sniff* O.o)
What I also don't like are the hands:They don't look realistic too.
And the water itself:It is at some sites too dark and so it doesn`t look real too!
But all in all,this is a very well done picture!

I will have my half done soon, I have finals right now, but I will be out of school on Wednesday, and then I will definitely get my half done. I'm sorry it's taking so long! But it will be worth the wait (I hope) And this was very worth the wait!
