Oooooooooooh mannnn. I drew this Midna (left) for charms back in 2011. Like a lot of art I make specifically to be printed, I put a lot of effort into making the image good, accurate, and detailed, so it can last for years. My Midna has in fact lasted for years, but I was never completely satisfied with it. I needed a few years of artistic improvement to gain the eye to identify why it didn't work.
There was no way I was gonna redraw Midna from scratch. I mean, look at this thing! Mostly I didn't want to have to redraw the fused shadow (helmet thing). So I just modified the original art, but yeah, I suppose more than half of this was redone. It was worth it, though, she looks SOOOO much better.
