Description John Keats and Lord Byron square off. This is a panel from a comic story I recently completed. (Edit: It is now published in Furrlough #153 !)

Very cool stuff here! Do you have any other comics online anywhere? It'd be pretty cool to see some more.

XD!!! This sounds like something Byron-I'll-Sleep-with-Every-Female-in-th e-Room would say. I recently just learned about him, like his maid tried to seduce him at 7/9 o_O....
This is funny none the less!!

Yeah, we tried to stay somewhat in-character with the real Byron! Apparently he was quite popular with the ladies.

"At 7/9", though? How do you mean?

Heh, I forgot what age his nurse tried to seduce him. The two ages that pop up in my mind are, 7 and or 9. He was THAT gorgeous when he was young o_O...or just a weird maid. A little of both, I think.
Did you know he had a clubbed foot? There are theories out there he slept with so many women because he felt he needed to 'prove' himself.
.../smacks self
Ok, im done trying to qusai-teach ^^ /quiet

Ah yes, I forgot about the nurse.

About the club foot, sure, I knew that. That's why I drew him with that cane in his left hand.

Hahaha, John Keats has been my favorite poet for a long time. XD I had to do a project on him way back when, and found I really REALLY liked his poetry, and he had a sad little life, which was also appealing. Good to see people know who he is! I'm so proud. *sobsobsob*

It's John Keats, starring in "Ode on a Grecian urn"! Coming...whenever.

To my knowledge he never met Lord Byron, but some (okay, a *lot*) artistic license was used in the production of this story.

You're not so bad yourself. You should try inking your drawings more often, that would help them look more finished (if that's what you want).

No need to put everything in your scrapbook though; your drawings are better than 90% of what's posted to this site!

Hmm, there's something strange about that? Byron's hand rests casually on his right knee, and he's slid down in the chair to a rather sloppy but relaxed posture.

Cool.

I can't find anything seriously wrong with the pic. Perhaps with a bit more context it might explain why his arm is off the table like that with the cane (like if he was leaving), but other than that, it's a very nice snippit.
