Have you ever noticed how alot of characters in anime or 'kinda anime' have really sad backstories?... well, you guys probably have, but I just realized it the other day and wanted to make fun of it!
That, and I wanted an excuse to draw chibi-like peoples! 
Anyway, I really like Gaara... even though he's kinda, well, nuts!
But his story is just soooo sad! 
I feel so bad for him! 
Well, I hope you all enjoy! I'm tying out a new comic style, so tell me what you think.
Zuko and Aang belong to Nickelodeon.
Sasuke, Naruto, Haku, and Gaara belong to Masashi Kishimoto!

My rp character's back story
Parents killed by bandits
Separated from his brother for 20 years
Marries has two kid (boy and a girl)
Son dies in a battle
Wife dies during the winter
(Both on his wedding anniversary)
Daughter is kidnaped
Heads back to his homeland
Finds brother but he is killed by the same
Hires assassin to kill bandits
Becomes friends with assassin
Assassin saves his life
Assassin joins the war
Assassin finds daughter his long lost daughter
Daughter attack by demon
The 2 go after the demon
Assassin gets possessed
Assassin stabs self in the chest to save him
He kills the demon
He brings assassin to the hospital
Assassin kills someone trying to kill his daughter
Killer is one of my characters friends

hey i am in 146 or 145 one of this episodes i don't know the titels and one question did you see gaara cry in the chunun exam??because everyone said that to me and i've never see him cry and i you know can you tell me what chapter??or episode?and it was funny the funnyest part was of haku and gaara i like how you drew the eyes of him gaara really like it *faves*

Forgive me but I've never been too into Naruto. The most I followed of it were the chooning(?) exams. What is Gaara's story?
I love the Zuko and Aang Bobo doll style though.

Gaara's story is soooo sad!

Prior to his birth, Gaara's hometown, Sunagakure, suffered a series of budget cuts, weakening the village's military strength with the expectation that it would continue to operate at its previous levels. Wishing for Gaara to be able to singlehandedly fill this gap, Gaara's father, the leader of Sunagakure at the time, had the One-Tailed Shukaku (Sand Spirit) sealed within Gaara during his birth. Because a sacrifice was needed for the sealing Gaara's mother was used, and with her last breath she cursed Gaara and Sunagakure, hoping that her son might someday be the doom of the village.
In an attempt to help Gaara gain control over the powers granted to him by Shukaku, Gaara's father trained him continuously throughout his childhood. None of these attempts were successful, and Shukaku continually attacked those around Gaara. Though Gaara never had the intention of harming anyone and apologized profusely after each of his attacks, the villagers of Sunagakure came to hate him for the monster within him. His father, fearing what Gaara might someday become, deemed him a lost cause and sent assassins to kill him. With each assassination attempt over the coming years Shukaku protected Gaara and killed his attacker. His family having turned against him, Gaara came to believe the only person he could rely on was himself and, by extension, Shukaku.
As a result of his self-reliant philosophy, Gaara comes to believe that his only reason for existing and, therefore, the only way he can feel alive is by killing those who threaten his existence.
In the show, when they tell his story, he's such a cute, sad little kid. You can't help but feel bad for him!

I just thought that it was just sad that Zabuza died after Haku saved his life and died... But, I'm glad you laughed! :woot: My job here is done.
I'm not very far... on the DVD's I'm to where Gaara turns into the Sand Spirit, and Naruto turns the Boss Toad into the Nine-Tailed Fox.... But then I skip abunch and I'm on the newest ones on Cartoon Network. Where Shino, Kiba, Hinata, and Naruto find that beetle that could track down Sasuke.

Aa, the hated fillers. We're not quite there in Canada yet, but I've watched up to Shippuden. (I skipped some fillers as they became quite unbearable) I also kept up with the manga. It takes a lot to catch up! There are so many seasons and chapters!
