Music has the power to blow your mind. It makes your blood run faster, makes you feel as if you're flying, wakes up your courage, drowns you in despair. Few people realize that the sounds are more powerful than images, it touchs you deep and you're nearly powerless against it.

Somewhere, sometime, there is a world where people know this, and they're able to use the power of the sound to shape the world and even transport your soul directly to the shadow river, the otherworld. Those people are know as Maestros.

Niflheim is everywhere, everytime, it's the timeless flow of life and death, it's a twisted mirror of the reality. It's the place where the souls of the deceased flow back into the earth, it's the origin of all power.

The souls of the living exists in Niflheim too, but they're no more than ghosts, barely noticiable. Unless a Maestro throws you there. Then, your body is an empty shell, defenseless on the living world, and you can gather the power of the dead. Or be devoured by them.

YES! I'm on a Ashaninka drawing rage! This concept is simple and boring, it's more a visualization of some ideas. For now I'm calling the otherworld as Niflheim, for the lack of a better name.

Música tem o poder de dar asas à sua mente. Ela faz seu sangue correr veloz, de te fazer sentir como se estivesse voando, acordar sua coragem, o afogar em desespero. Poucas pessoas percebem que os sons são mais poderosos que imagens, eles o tocam fundo e você é quase que indefeso contra isto.

Em algum lugar, em algum tempo, existe um mundo onde as pessoas sabem disto, e elas são capazes de usar o poder do som para moldar o mundo e até mesmo transportar sua alma direto para o rio sombrio, o outro mundo. Essas pessoas são conhecidas como Maestros.

Niflheim está em todo lugar, todo tempo, é o fluxo atemporal da vida e da morte, um espelho distorcido da realidade. É o lugar onde as almas dos mortos fluem de volta à terra, é a origem de todo o poder.

As almas dos vivos existem em Niflheim também, mas não são mais que fantasmas, pouco notáveis. A não ser que um Maestro o atire lá. Então, seu corpo é uma concha vazia, indefeso no mundo dos vivos, e você pode reunir o poder dos mortos. Ou ser devorado por eles.
