Description
Hello! I've been working on my human art style for the past few days, trying to figure out a better style for the hair and skin. I used Seren as my guinea pig. :'DI really liked the detail all the extra lines contributed in my previous style of drawing hair, but all that lineart was kind of labor-intensive and kind of a turn-off from drawing humans. This style is simpler, but retains details through the shading and coloring instead. :') And I always hated how my cel shading looked on skin. This kind of somewhat softer cel shading looks better, to me anyway. :'x This also gave me some practice with hand and facial structure, as well as a full-body semi-chibi look. The whole thing was an experiment, and I love how it turned out. :')
This is a reference for my Trinkin Seren's human form! Since Trinkins are pretty much made of magic, they can manipulate their form to become human (or anywhere in between) if needed. As the Recordkeeper, Seren would need to assume this form often, since little Trinkin paws aren't quite made for reading and writing. The colors come directly from his Trinkin form, and while he can't change them, he can cast an illusion to make them more "normal" if he needs to disguise himself around humans unaware of magic. But since Seren has an important job unrelated to the general Trinkin occupation of collecting, he just uses his natural colors.

In an ideal future, I would love to include human designs with Trinkin designs. I love making both, and I can only imagine how much fun it would be to design both! :') But every Trinkin can have a human form if you'd like, so feel free to make one for your existing Trinkins!
