~10.5" figure of Disney's Gargoyles Goliath as the Thinker.Private commission.
Grey has to be the hardest color to paint, as it darkens only once it has dried ;n;

I've been rewatching Gargoyles and to see some related artwork of it is so cool. I always liked Goliath's thinking pose when he turns to stone, so good choice on the commissioner's part to have him do that.
Great job on the details. The vines on the bottom are a really great touch, and Goliath himself looks like he was taken right from the show.

Very nice! I like the shading inside the wings; it gives it greater depth and contrast to Goliath's body, and really makes the wing's ribs stand out.
Did you also add shading on his muscles? It's hard to tell from the photograph.

It really did help more than I thought, seeing as though he's solid grey ^^
He does have shading on his torso and muscles, especially the darker grey on the non facing planes.
