Hi! As the commissioner, and someone who has watched in amazement as this was made, I can tell you she was sculpted by hand (and certainly some magic too!)
There is a full armature inside, as well as these very ingenious brass tubes that are used as sockets for the various parts. She's large enough that her mane, horn, ears, wings, and tail are all separate pieces.

Hi!
I commissioned this piece, and watched with amazement as she was sculpted by Vii. She's made of stainless steel and brass for the armature, epoxy for the thin bits (like her lower legs), and some sort of polymer clay for the rest.
This is truly a hand-made piece of art.
