creepy. the Borg are so belligerent as a race u would probably die fairly quickly. but if u lived eventually your flesh would waste & all that's left would be the technology & bones. still kept alive by the will of the collective. on the original Borg home world this is could be one of the earliest surviving ancestors of their race.

i like the look of the skinny-borg concept, however, you might wanna have another go at it and make the forearms, hands and legs more like what is seen in the series.

That is un true. Picard was borg and all that is left is the cortical implant. It was done by the best doctors in the federation. And Seven of Nine was able to get her humanity back by just one hologram

Yeah, that's why I said "originally". Although Best of Both Worlds was TNG at its best, it did kind of make the Borg less scary to know that people could almost fully recover from being assimilated. Later episodes developed that more until the Borg just weren't much to be scared of anymore IMO.

Maybe the Borg were conquered by the Combine then. They have "an empire spanning multiple parallel universes" so it's possible. It might make a good crossover...

I for one have always found the Borg heavily tragic. I cannot remember a piece showing that better than this one. There's death, synthetic life, helplessness, the organic versus the cybernetic - and of course the colour green. Totally Borg, even though it's a very unorthodox rendering. Brilliant.

Regardless of the main figure, which I think is quite nice, if rough, I think the background is what really brings the deviation to life.
