This reminds me of some rendition of the Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke.Β Especially with the night setting, a large bodied humanoid beast with the half face of human and deer/elk.Β On the back it looks like some oozy black tendrils, similar to the ghost like shadow appendages the Forest Spirit has in its night form.Β Also it gives a sense of life, and death, with the flesh body and face, and yet the skull and wounded appearance, another theme of the Forest Spirit.Β This picture is full of detail and evokes a surreal feeling of walking between worlds.
