Salutations! I hope made a re-style of this character, which may be found here.

I hope you do not mind me using your pallet and such. If for some reason that should be the case, please let me know. I have made sure to credit your work and art page.

magnifico! you have no idea how long I've been looking for a decent MLP-ish elk picture. This is perfect. The parchment-like style is actually rather appropriate for it as well.

Hey, good to see you posting again! Think I might have asked this before, but do the cervids decorate their antlers at all, like gilding or scrimshaw, or would that be considered gauche?

Elk most devout to the Thorn (an order surrounding the world tree) are no stranger to gilding, but it serves a second, more important, function: it turns the antlers into something like amplifiers. World tree bark is ground to powder and gilded into inscriptions on the antlers. It keeps them in tune with the tree they hold dear. For others, ornaments and jewels are common.

On a side note: their hunters and soldiers will grow a layer of their element(s) around their eyes, sometimes reaching up the antlers. It can look intimidating, but among them, it's a symbol of experience.

The elk above represents the average young adult.

Damn, I need to learn how to do this.

The 2D style does fit. It's more generic, like a textbook picture, but that's not by itself a bad thing. It fits the atmosphere of the world.

Aye, unfortunately, it's all I can do right now. Eventually I'll get to more dynamic poses, clothes and backgrounds.

Foal steps xD

Ooh... so do elks use their horns for magic too, or does the pic show otherwise?

Elk use their eyes. Theirs is a very different breed of magicβ€”closer to bending (from the avatar series) or alchemy (from Full Metal Alchemist).
