Description Pterosaurs are my favorite dino-adjacent prehistoric animals.
They were literally fireless dragons and there is nothing better than that.
*DISCLAIMER: This is OBVIOUSLY VERY SPECULATIVE, and in many ways is more fantastical than paleontological. I'm well aware of the "inaccuracies" but nevertheless here it is, the Quetzacoatlus.

Hightly speculative, but the way wings are folded seems to be correct. In most recostruction of pterosaur on the ground they hold their wings only partialy folded, like Vought f4u Corsair plane (which suggest wing atony). What uncomfortable way of walking it would be!

I went for a more bat like approach but your explanation seems pretty accurate. But this is nothing more than speculation on my part.

Well, there is a reason why bat fold their wings this way. It is the most comfortable possible way to using wings for walking. Pterosaurs probably knew it too.

This looks really interesting but there are indeed a few common inaccuracies, most important: azhdarchids were even more weird. The head was nearly 3 times longer than the body. On the other side the hands are a little smaller and the feet are less wide.

But the speculative soft tissue looks fascinating!

Thanks for the info. I treated this more as a fantasy representation than anything else. I'm not a paleo artist by any means.

Haha! I'm not sure it is either judging by the amount of hate he's been getting.
