Scarlet made her way away from the group in search of the ladies room. To be honest she hadn't been to Sweet Apple Acres enough times to actually know her way around the house, but she figured it couldn't be too hard to find stuff.
As she rounded a corner she noticed the lack of light from the turned off lamps and was just about to turn around and head back the way she came as she was suddenly startled from the light getting turned on in the adjacent room.

Instinctively and without thinking she pressed herself against the wall as to not get caught snooping around. In doing so however she quickly realized how silly she was being. She wasn't intruding, she was a guest in the house for crying out loud.

"Guess I'm getting paranoid by hiding from mom" she said in a low tone as she laughed quietly at herself.

Just as she was about to get back to her search she heard shouting coming from the room.

"I'll kill him!"

Twiggy? The always pleasant and gentle farmer lad? Scarlet was suddenly very intruiged.

"Twig-"

Cheerilee's voice followed him.

"Who gives him the right to treat her like this?" Twiggy interupted.

It was beyond clear that they were both very upset.
Scarlet inched closer to the open wall that lead to the other room. Trying perhaps to catch a glimpse of them.

"I swear I will take the next train and I will make him regret he ever came to Canterlot in the first place!" He continued.

"Twig, please, calm down"

"Calm down?! Why? I cant believe you are so calm about this. He used my sister, he used your daughter!"

"I know Twig but-"

"Should he just be allowed to do whatever he wants 'cause of the fact that he's a fucking prince?! "

"Twig-"

"How are you not upset about this? Someone clearly need to beat some fucking sense into that monster"

"Black Twig Apple stop it right now!" Cheerilee raised her voice at him and the room fell silent. "Of course I'm upset. I'm just as livid as you are, he hurt my little girl! But I also know better than to charge in and wreck so called 'justice' upon him, as I will not have you traveling all the way to the crystal empire just to have yourself thrown in a holding cell! I know you just want to help you sister, I do too, but no good will come out of violence"

There was a pause as Twiggy seemed to be mumbling something. He was looking away, not willing to face his mother. He was clearly still contemplating his plan.

"The only thing we can do for her, Twig, is to just be here for her" Cheerilee took a step closer.

"He still deserves a hoof to the face..."

Cheerilee sighed and was just about to speak as a third voice could be heard stepping into the room.

"Please, don't do anything stupid brother" It was Honey "Let's just forget about it. Please"

"But Honey, he-" Twiggy started but didn't finish his sentence.

"I said don't!" The anger and hurt was clear in her voice as she stumbled a bit on the words. "Let's just move on"

Scarlet didn't need to hear more, she knew who they were talking about. It was obvious, but at the same time she didn't want to believe it.
Swiflty she made her way through the house away from the family.

She was speechless. She knew he was kind of an asshole from time to time, but those mares were just supposed to be status seeking dumbasses, not like Honey! Had he used more like her? Ones that genuinly believed in everything he told them? Had he no shame?!
Thoughts like these kept circleing through her mind as she made her way back to the living room where the other guests was gathered around chit chatting.
The ladies room could wait.

Gosh I dont like this text but it's something. I wish I was better at writing down my thoughts xD

Anyway this is the scene where Scarlet finds out about that whole Riposte Honey spectacle. She don't like it, not one bit.
She knows Honey is way too gullible and naive for him, she just wished he wasnt actually that big of a jerk.
