"Stop squirming" Diamond Tiara said as she was in the middle of brushing out the tangled mess that was her daughters hair.

Crabapple twisted and shifted awkwardly some more trying to escape her mothers grasp.

"I don't wanna go to grandma's house, she just complains all the time"

"Oh? Unlike you then?"

"It's not the same! She's so booooring and you always make me wear these stupid bows when we visit her" Crabapple reached to try and loosen the bow but was stopped by Diamond Tiara.

"You can run and roll in the mud all you want when we get home but for now please try to behave. You don't get to meet grandma that much and she loves spending time with you"

"Loves telling me what I do wrong you mean" Crabby huffed under her breath.

Diamond sighed and added in some sparkle in her daughter's mane. "Being proper is very important to her and she just wants to help. Now stop pouting and don't forget to wish her a happy birthday"

"Fine..."

"Looking good!" Applebloom entered the room and gave Diamond a quick kiss on the cheek "Both of you"

"Thank you dear" She blushed slightly then looked at her wife "Is that how you're going?"

Hesitant by the question Applebloom answered shortly "Yes?"

"No. You are not wearing a ponytail of all things to my mothers house! Take that off and come here, I'll fix your mane too"

Crabapple snickered a bit at her Ma's reaction, atleast she wasn't the only one getting forcefully dolled up.

Crappy dialouge is crappy. I really didn't have a point with this other than I wanted to draw Crabapple with her moms.

Crabby loathes getting all dressed up and fancy, she has way more important things to do then sit still for an hour getting her mane done, and to then be forced to go to a boring garden party at her boring grandmother's house just makes it 10 times worse. Maybe it'll be a good opportunity to wreak some chaos at the party in order to punish her mothers for forcing her into these things.
