I've had this piece in my to-do list for quite a while now, so as soon as I finished my GOTG piece last month I went straight to work on finishing this as fast as I could, and surprisingly enough I was able to get it done in less than a month! So lo and behold here's my long awaited piece featuring the feline fatale of Gotham, Catwoman!

I wanted to do a little more practice on my inks, and Catwoman here was the perfect subject to get into that with her full leather outfit. It was also important for me that the colours all meshed in well between her and the background, and I'm really pleased with how everything came out looking like its one cohesive unit of colour al throughout the layers of the piece. The buildings in the background took quite some time for me to finish, and like my Batman piece I had to look out for buildings and structures around my area to get a little inspiration on how to draw the city skyline.

The pose was inspired by Catwoman's win sequence from the game Injustice: Gods Among Us, and I thought that the pose clearly defined who her character was. I also wanted to emphasize her sex appeal without showing any skin considering her chest area is always exposed in the comics, and this to me proves that you don't need to show any excessive cleavage to be sexy. I put a lot of love and effort into making this piece and I'm really pleased with how it came out, and hopefully you all like it too.

UPDATE: Recoloured background, streamlined inks, added details to eyes and skin shading, and wider 16:10 aspect ratio to fit as a wallpaper!
