Description
I noticed I've only done one female character so far so I decided to try another one to see if I've improved. For Psylocke, I wanted to do a natural pose instead of something overly sexual. She's probably the one of the most overly sexualized female characters out there and I wanted to keep things simple but still sexy. The pose is reminiscent of her battle stance in the Marvel vs. Capcom series, though I only noticed that after I finished her!For the costume its the usual favourite outfit, inspired by Jim Lee's ninja outfit design during the 90's. The face was very difficult yet again because I'm not accustomed to females yet, but I'm glad I was able to pull off a look and make her look distinctly Asian too. I wanted to style her hair the way Jim Lee always used to draw her with her hair swept all to one side, and I'm happy with the way it turned out in this piece.
I finished the piece with her trademark psychic knife, and this was the most difficult part for me. After about two hours of trying out different combinations, I was able to get something I liked and that's what we have here. Psylocke was one of the more exposed characters in Jim Lee's 90's X-Men along with Wolverine and Gambit, and since I grew up during that time those three have been my favourites ever since and I'm glad I was able to come up with something worthy enough of our favourite butterfly assassin.

It looks cool. Her clothes remind me of Elektra, except that they are purple.

Thanks! Yeah that's the way they always were in the comics, their outfits really are alike.
