I had to post my WIPs for CHOW, and I thought people might be interested in the painting process for this. Afterwards, I made some minor changes and used some colour, overlay and multiply layers to colour it:[link]

that sure will be useful! what did you do to blend in the sketchiness oin the floor? (step 3 to 4)

I just used a textured brush at low opacity and scribbled. I probably worked harder on that than I needed to.
