Description
Above is a reinterpretation of Digimon World 3's final boss, and among the least "defined" of all digimon - Snatchmon.Given the impression from playing the said game, I have given it more of an alien look, and also given it a new head and a more feminine body shape. Since trying to give it the alien theme, I tried to make the body look less "sectionized" and reduce the amount of accessories to the collar. The mid-section to the hip is enveloped with green gelatin-like substances.

Thanks. Though remaking a game where most things are pixels to begin with is kind of hard.

Snatchmon always reminded me of Mewtwo with armor on... but more elegant.

Wait you agree it's female, yes!
Why it's female in my future fanfic is rather dark.
It's a cross-over between: Tamers, X-Evolutin, and World3

Maybe, but X-evolution tends to get more mechanical, and this detail may not appeal to kids, or at least in a marketing perspective.

Heh heh heh, I'm making it scientifically dark, and it's not going to be for kids.
Trust me it can make grownups voimit, I'm going to rate it M, though I can't start till I finish highschool in the next two months.

I probably lean toward the violence part more, since sex didn't exactly sell the show for me. I only hope people will see a good story instead of just good vs. evil like they always have.
But if Tamers is to follow Evangelion, would Beelzemom gets torn to shreds?

Sex? Ha ha ha ha ha ha, oh on on on on hehe.
Nope, it's scientific, here's a hint, think of Full Metal Alchemist and how the philosophers stone is made, accepts using female children.

I see, suppose it's closer to a horror genre.
Though I feel like if I have a show, I would let it be more character and situation driven, so it may even work to emphasize the existence of certain characters and digimons even better.

I agree with you, but this is a standstill, like X-Evolution which was never dubbed, they'd have to scensor every single violent scene.
And Tamers, telling kids that the government is truly not your friend.

I only guess aside from making things appropriate to younger audience, they're trying to make things simple enough for them. But instead of telling them "these people" wanted to cause unease, they can achieve something more thought-out, that's one way to make cartoons less likely branded as "childish".

I see... I've never thought about it like that before..
Then how dose shows that are meant for older audience attract more children then children's shows?
I mean we've all know children watch: HunterxHunter, Dragon BallZ, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Sword Art Online, etc.
All of those shows contain immense violence, yet children prefer to watch them over obnoxious farfetched children's shows..
A good example is in real life you don't always get the happy ending.
When you keep losing everything there is nothing you can do about it, you can't get back what's lost:
In 02 Ken lost Wormmon and went berserk, wailing over how he keeps loosing close ones, yet Wormmon came back from the dead, by unconvicebley unrealistic means.
While in Tamers, Jeri lost her mother, then her father's love, and later her partner, eventually a huge portion of her sanity. However she managed to pull through in the end.
It is best to show children examples like Jeri, because A) there are children out there who has lost/lack do much in their lives, that showing them a utopia is cold.
And B) one can lose anything at any moment, it's best to show kids that one can get over it, better that then going into depression, and possible adiction, or worse suicide.
Some peole may think that showing reality for kids is overrated, but trust me if something went badly wrong in a kid's life, they might at least have some sort of rolemodel. Which can be a character who has faced fate with a bold heart.
Utopia dose'nt exist, showing examples of it is wrong, it's going to backfire when they grow up and face highschool with a collection of fake hopes, and dreams.

I thought they mostly use happy endings to conclude their stories, and it is very common in most shows that the protagonists would "ignore" those problems to fight for a "better future", and very much the same reason that repeats the same kinds of problems over and over. But despite these happenings and realizations, the people behind the story just jam in new stuff (preferably something marketable) to continue the tale, especially shows for children where they tend to avoid realistic situations that will hinder their marketing plan.
But Jeri's story can hardly be altered, that is at least one thing I liked about tamers. I wouldn't say they completely indulge in senseless violence, yet they wouldn't spend much attention to explain the consequences of inflicting damage upon others.

It turns out I was right after all.
They just announced a new form for Mewtwo to be released in Pokemon X and Y.
Just compare it with Snatchmon, and Giugue. The similar characteristics are so obvious.
If this was their idea of baffling observant fans, then the game creators are trolling fans again, they did that with Shadow Triad/ Striation Trio theory.
Why do devolopers leave behind such mind wrecking puzzles that they choose to never solve, honestly are they trying to make true fans hate them?

Is it just me or did Digimon World3 seem alot like Mother1, andMother2?
I mean they could of made it cluster f**k like they did at the end with Gyiagas, but with Gaiamon instead.
Also Snatchmon quite resembles Gyigue.
Perhaps the same creators of Mother are the same of Digimon, as well as Pokemon. Let's not forget Mewtwo here.
I'd like to use Snatchmon in the first ever Digimon fanfic that's quit related to Digimon world3 there is none I've searched and I'm quiet disappointed.
That game made my childhood along with a few others..

Well they might have shared similar ideas during development back then, but it seems like it's not something they'd like to further elaborate on, or if they find something appropriate enough to explain it.

Well I know that the same creators of Pokemon, were the same creators of the Mother trilogy, who's creators also worked on Digimon.
Not to mention that Mother2, Pokemon Red/Blue, Pokemon Gold/Silver, Mother, Digimon World 2&3 had striking similarities.
I've been researching it for over a year, it's all the same plot, but with different storylines.
Everything in the end came highly unexpected.
In pokemon Gold/Silver for instance, in the end you fight Red on mountain silver.
A character supposedly dead till Black2/White2. This truly shares resemblance to how you fight Giugue on a simmilar mountain in the game(( Silver represents Mt.Fuji)) then he was supposedly gone in the next game, only to appear in a creepy senario like Red did, and let's admit his disappearance was creepy.
In Digimon World3 it appears as you're fighting Giugue/gGyigas backwards.. First as the baby/fetus things, then as an intelegent adult alien, to the machine which I must admit brings CLOSE resemblance to the one containing Gyigas.
Not only that but Snatchmon's goal was to become Giamon, thus Earthbound, thus Gaia the MOTHERly goddes of earth.
Adding on to of that, you have Lord Megadeath who always seems to fill in for Pokey. Not to forget, both Gyigas and Snatchmon consumed both Pokey, Lord Megadeath losing their minds completely during, and after the process.
Yup.

Thanks, but maybe wait until I try to remodel a Galacticmon, because the original looks more like a dragon type. I may even have some fun figuring out Vemmon's new look.
