If you don't mind my asking, how do you mold your clay? Is it sulfur based clay?

It is chavant NSP soft, It is a sulfur free oil based, non drying clay.
As for molding I generally use GI-1000 silicone (it's an industrial tin based silicone) with a fiberglass jacket. As for the entire masterchief project I will be using rebound 25 from smooth-on (a platinum based silicone) because of the level of detail. Rebound is more expensive, but allows for much better detail in "brush up" molds.

I'm using rebound, but it doesn't play nice with my clay. Most of my work around involve destroying the clay...
Thank you for sharing. This helmet is pretty boss. Still working on getting better at finishing sculpts.

well, you should always expect that your sculpture will be destroyed in the molding process, if it isn't, it's a bonus.
The rest of the armor that goes with the helmet will be sculpted in WED clay, hopefully starting tomarrow (in the process of modifying a mannaquin to match the customers dimensions better ATM)
Best of luck
