I shade with the regular brush tool. I just have the opacity set on pen pressure. c:

LOL, I kinda liked Flapjack, but I didn't watch it that much. I don't hate or even particularly dislike Adventure Time...I just never really got into it. xD

Yeah, it looks fun. Flat colors are nice, aren't they? And there's also the fact that this character design is great.

Hm, how do you get a straight line with cheating? ;D I use Photoshop Elements, so I don't know if it'll be different...

I didn't like Flapjack all too much, so I assumed that I would dislike Adventure Time. I was wrong. D:

XD What I love about Marshall Lee and Marceline is the fact that their hair changes. A lot. And so do their clothes. That makes them fun to draw. <3

Hold shift down when you're drawing, and you'll get a straight line. It should work the same with Photoshop Elements, I used to use that program. :]
