Vish, could you maybe do another of these, but from the backside? I'd like to see the muscle-flow and tension through his back and shoulders (or anyone's really) when drawing a bow :3 Thanks!

This stock photo must come with a caveat: the model doesn't know how to shoot a bow. It's not as simple as pulling back the string. His stance is good and his anchor point on his face is as good as it's going to get for a bow too small for him but three issues remain. His grip on the bow itself is too tight, at full draw an archer allows the tension to pull the bow into the hand. One should hold the string in the first knuckle of ones fingers not the second like the gentleman above. His left elbow needs to be rotated out so it bends horizontal to the ground rather than down towards it, otherwise when you fire the string will take a few layers of skin off your forearm.

I apologise for mistaking it for stock, I should have been paying more attention to how you labelled the photo.

But while we are labeling; I would say you are 'that guy' who compromises accuracy for artistic expediency. Perhaps that will work for some observers but you must acknowledge that factual errors like that cause some people to lose their suspension of disbelief, taking them out of any artistic appreciation they were attempting.

I meant my previous and this comment as honest and constructive criticism.

LOL what would you expect from a guy who clearly spends his free time lifting weights?

Nice pull...clearing his mind, becoming one with his weapon, in order to fire the arrow with perfection so true...such is the way of the Zen Archer, the Martial Mystic.  Great photograph!

Judging by the minimal attire and snazzy bow, this is most certainly Cupid, correct?
