Description
YuGiOh is probably one of the biggest inspirations for me as an artist and I was not until now that I realized how heavily it had influenced my overall style. While the monsters, especially the dragons and fiend monster, were what really drew me to the show I also loved the idea of characters with split personalities/souls as a kid. Even to this day I find few shows or animes that pull off the possession/reincarnation motif as well. Not to mention incorporating Egypt (I was a huge Egypt/mummy kid. I get the latest scientific magazines on anything about Dinosaurs or mummys and read them right before bed.)
So now, after re watching many episodes of the show I decided to draw the character I loved most as a kid, though now I find him a creepy psychopath, Yami Bakura!
