Description
well here is for all of you to stare at.My first real, full on space art since 2005(Im not counting terraspace art either)
So I hope this comeback will last a longtime with no blocks
all done in PS(with the help of my digital cam' on some textures), then planet(lage blue one) and moons(turquoise and green ones) done in 3ds max(with all the textures on them done in PS by hand)
Also this project was started sometime last year and I'm very happy to see that I got my "thang" back to finish it in just the last two days.
.::wipes sweat off forehead::.
Originally the blast in the center was a supernova(some of my art friends have seen it) but it seems to have been plaiged by dark matter/gases(aka golbules)
since stars are what go super nova. you can guess what happened to the planet's sun(thus the one light source). lol
I really REALLY hope you guys love this one. I put my heart and soul into this one(for once in a real long time)
comments and favs are always greeted with a smile(always)

I am the publisher for Sci-Fi Short Story Magazine. This is a full-color print and on-line magazine anchored by jaw-dropping sci-fi illustrations and solid, powerful science fiction short stories. The magazine launched in November, and we are actively seeking illustrators whose work stands out as exemplary in the field for our January issue.
I have seen your work at DeviantArt and you most definitely fit the bill. At present, we do not offer payment for stories or illustrations, but we do provide an illustrator bio page and exposure. We are seeking both work that is already complete as well as illustrators willing to do a piece for a certain story. In particular, we're interested in featuring this "Beaming sombre" piece. We have a short story that fits it well. Please let me know if you would be interested.

the inner part of the gas formation is fantastic...
the piece inself has so much depth. i luv all that distance feeling on this spacescape
even if the globules are a bit weird, the rest of the image is superb
plus... no words enought to say about those planets, just

Parts of the globules and gases seem a bit too sharp, but overall it's very nice, I like it.. And nice planets. They really pull the whole thing together.

I'm going to have to disappoint you - I don't like the nebulae For me i find it too..bitty, mixed up. I like the concept of globules, but I think it's over done - maybe you should have made less, but refined them further because I get a slightly lower qualitry effect on them. I think the depth also suffers due to the sporadic nature of the.
BUT, those planets are...fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Nice original lighting on the large one - and even at this size I get a complete feeling of SCALE. I can tell its huge. They blow me away.

i think the bigger versions are just to big, this version is perfect. I love the entire piece, you make such amazing and above all unique art..... i just don't have enough words for it. The planets are superb, the detail is amazing and i like what you did with the lighting on them. The nebula is great as well, in the bigger versions i think they are to fuzzy but in this one it looks fantastic. Glad you are back man. Keep it up and oh yea +fav (ofcource)

heh
thanx man.
I no matter what I did I couldnt get the golbules very sharp really. but I didnt want some poor sap(I guess not really poor if they have such a large desktop res) to not use them.

It's beautiful - especially the star going (gone?) nova (didn't really understand that part).
