Description
heh...Well...
This took me 'bout three hours to do on the first half then the next night it was another three...or was it four? I CANT REMEMBER!!! Darn you Godsmack!!! You made me lose time!!! LMAO!!!
Well anywho; Heres my first ever actual try at makin a blue planet with some real land and I tried to see about some civilization on the planet this time(the city lights)...And the green moon is my first try at a mega forest-like-moon(if I had put the higher res' up here you could see but thats WAAAAY(!!!) too big...it was 3200 x 2400
Then I stuck in the ol' plain dead moon(tried something different with it...
And heres me fav part that I liked...a mistake...If ya didnt see it look up in the upper right corner of the pic...My first ever solar eclipse! I liked this enough I just might go and make a large version of this eclipes!
Note
Let me know if ya likes! please...
Edit: heres a [link] to a up close and personal on the eclipse of the moon in the far right

its a photoshop plugin for making plantes and such. your image looks like it relied heavily on this plugin technique.

as long ya give me credit you can go ahead and use my real name if ya want...And I have one question though...Do you have a notice up there or something that tells people not to steal the images?
I just want to know cuz most of these are for a novel Im workin on
If you say yes to all of this then by all means be free to use it friend...

I credited you, by means of DevArt username and website, in the derivative work itself. Additionally, you're now listed on my "Thanks" list on the front page of the Providence Station website.
I typically include copyright notices with any artwork, mine or otherwise, that I place on the site - my hope is that people, on seeing the copyright notice, will think twice about just snicking the image. If you'd like, however, I'll add a warning not to steal the images themselves to the front page.
If you want to see the derivative work itself, I've uploaded it here: [link]
Alternately, surf to the Providence Station website - [link] - and click on the Kentaurus Prime link.
Thanks for the prompt response and for your permission!

yeah, it looks like you blew the stars up a bit to fit the image...though the clouds on the planet are quite good. nice job.

Hey, it's pretty good. But like you said, stars need some work. Maybe adjust the contrast/curves on the planets to make them have an actual dark side. Or not, it's all good.

Ya know what Robert, the more I look at this the more it looks real, because the stars are not always clear in actual photos.
So I take back my original comment and give you two thumbs up for a realistic portrayal of the universe as we know it......
