Just shows that even at night darkness can be destroyed by light...Heh...couldnt come up with a good name for this so I just decided to have it do something with my insomnia...lol

Large moon on the bottom: terragen render(Of course)
Planet and other moon: 3D s Max 5
Stars: Ps 7
Type Sc Galaxy: Ps 7(with alot of patience) I'll be putin it up on here as a scrap so ya'll can give it a look at what a hassle I went through...lol And I gots to say ThanX for the walkthrough to finish up the lil holes I had left in completing my galaxies

Neverending blue here! I really like the terragen - wouldn't normally but you used it very well, and the atmosphere is a great white band, which is good, and the water has just subtle reflections. I can see tiny details in the large moon, but it seems a little boring because of the light there. The galaxy is nothing new - shame - well, if it is you're fooling me

Yar I like it but i aint sure of the layout. Nice galaxy. took the time to take a look at it. Will be cool when you start to create even more fantastic galaxys (your not going to stick to a tutorial are ya?) with different colours and types and things.
Still skepitcal of the terragen addition mind..im always skeptical about terragen

So there isnt ways to manipulate the tutorial that you can make the galaxy with? Arr thats pappy, cause then you could do all sorts. The kind of galaxy i like is seeing it NEARLY from the side but at an angle, overlooking it, very close up. Its great like that instead of in the distance. Thats what i was askin with the pic that i requested from ya.
Guess thats my scientific stuff gettin in the way though.

LOL! no worries...Thats part of the reason I've been workin on this...so I can get it down to do that...At leaste I hope to get it don well enough so I can do it...at leaste I picked what kind of galaxy I wanted to create and it came out lookin like it...a Sc class...which was sweet

Yeah, i mean if you picked it and manipulated to that then thats cool and gettin there. Hey maybe you can tweak this method..so that you have a disk like a galaxy, you rub out a black disk in the middle, add some more cool effects and ta da! Black hole.
