Here it is! something I worked on for the chunk of the day(cept for the on and off, to do things)!So alot of time went into this here yall!

this was bout 50 - 60 total layers so...it be DEEP!
heh it started with the star field and I spent bout 10 min's just on that(sadly you cant see most of it no more), so thats when I noticed this wasnt gonna be one of those 2 hour/three hour works...nope it ended up bein bout 10 hours...lol and the neb on the very bottem was goin a completely different way at first and ended up lookin completely different...so this peice kinda evolved over time...then ended like this(not even close to my first Idea...lol)
I should work on the the edge part of the neb' though...lol

Question, though: how do you get the apophysis fractals to look so good in these images? I haven't been able to figure that part out, yet.

lol...well...I turn the gamma dowwn and I jack the image size up passed 1800pxls
also if ya go back to the site you'll find a link to a tut there and it'll show ya how to set some of the options to make it purdier(theres a word of the day...lol)

very nice nebula, even if you can see the clouds texture clearly, it looks great, and thats what matters! very deep, the range of colours is great. the apophysis works in very very well, the subtlety is wicked. sweet nebula, one fo the best i've seen in ages

That's AMAZING!!!! wow... 10 hours... I have the patience to sit and watch the Star Wars trilogy, and Indiana Jones in one sitting, but I could never sit and work on that... but, wow...

Lmao! well...I did have a few things I had to help with so in those 10 hours I Mowed the grassed to three trash cans to a dumpster(not a clean suister and her house when she first moved in) weed-wacked around a house walked back home, washed a motercycle, had dinner, played a game with my friend(45 mins or so) and put dinner away so...there was time that I wasnt doin the picture...lol

Anyways. Not bad dood, cant help but notice that the clouds texture is very noticeable & that the planet textures seem a lil too simplistic, but besides from that its pretty good, nice blend of fractal too, keep up the good work
