That sun is perfect I think. Nice high-res texturing, apart from the previous. Sun spots are missing is the only negative comment I can think of. Good work!

I agree with onorok. You need to add sunspots, work on the atmosphere, and (most importantly) the coloring should be even. the sun has no dark side. The entire surface should have an evenly distributed color. But you do get style points since it is asthetically pleasing. work out the few kinks in it and make a tutorial.

yup!
I was just goin for that lens they use to take pics of the sun up close...later on if I use it it'd look brighter, more evened out and would be able to see it as much

You are off to a great start, and for the most part, the sun looks great. However, the sun you have made is a bit to calm to be a realistic sun. A sun's atmosphere is extremely violent, and in this it does not show. That would be the first thing to do to add more realism, ( if that's your goal. ) Another thing would be to add more dark sunspots. Only things I can suggest, hope you keep getting better at it. So far that's one of the best I've seen, good luck with future ones

ThanX! yeah I was just mainly wonkin from the idea they use(its some kind of lens) on when they take pics of the sun and it gets rit of most of the glare...at the end if I use a sun in a pic it;d be mre of a normal look than this...unlees I do one like when they take a pic of one of the planets in front of the sun and they use that lens
