Just playin with an old model I've imported in2 3DS Max from Gmax so i thought id play with rendering for a while. Made a quick background in terragen and touched up a lil in photoshop (my skills in PS are somewhat limited, take a look at the shores!Related content

if you fuck a little more around in ps, you might actually be able to make those shores look like they're being sprinkled with dust from the robot's feet.
I think it looks really good though. Would have been ace if I had "known" the model, like one from warhammer 40k or something like that

warhammer? Heh u mean the walker-like things... arg can't remember their name! But yeah, this is based the Battletech universe with the mechwarrior games, even though it's my own custom model! Who said anything about giving up?! If you want though I'd like 2 know how 2 play around with that sprinkle deeley u mentioned

Well, I'm not really sure. I just visualized the whole thing. Maybe by using the (damn, can't remember name..) small dots and then making them blurry.
it's possible, I just don't remember how. :/
