Description
Second of the Pretentious Series.
Please download for better quality and slightly larger view.I just wanted to paint something actually, vaguely technically satisfying. Pity it's so meaningless, but whatever. This was more like catharsis. Easing into an anime-er style again. Critique as desired, except for anatomy...I wasn't really trying there. I can do better. Haha. I think.

I like how they are looking at each other, the way the colors, form and full on look flows all towards just the way they look into each others eyes. It's captivating

Wow, a tiger/lion with horns? That's a beautiful hybrid, the feathers on the girl are exceptional too. I really love the on by her hair with the pretty jewelry, did you use a reference for that?

Have you ever read Owlflight by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon? Such a good book and the first of a trilogy they wrote, Owlsight and Owlknight are the other two. For some reason, your piece reminds me of Darian and Kel the gryphon.... Such an breathtaking piece!
