I'm not sure I understand your meaning -- it's a digital piece ... (If "original" = the face reference I used, it was from a magazine page online.)

Ah, I didn't realise it was digital. I thought it was an oil painting and you uploaded a digital image of it. Wanted the 'real life' painted version. I shall have it enjoy it on the computer. Great work; very emotive. Easy to put a narrative to it in your mind.

Good looking and sinister...spot on and exactly like described in the book. Very cool!
One question though:
Ardapedia, the German-speaking Tolkien-Wikipedia is in a process of polishing their articles with professional artwork. So I am searching in Deviantart for artists who may allow us to use their work in a, of course, non commercial way. The consent of the artists is very important to us. Copyright and ownership of course would be marked so no one else could claim it.
Could I use some of your works for this purpose?
