Also the rendering looks a lot more natural and smooths, and the colors are mixed together better. The facial structure is also more correct.

Thanks! I definitely remember not being satisfied with the first version, but I couldn't tell how to fix it back then or where to go from what I had. I think I'll try more things in the new style in the future.

Thanks! I don't think I really knew what I wanted on his face in the earlier version. And the new color palette is really fun, as well as a lot less garish IMO.

Hehe, not sure I'd use the word "garish", but I do like the second version better xD I almost thought it was a sketch at first. It was fun getting to find the really subdued colors you hid in it though!
