Description
Grey, from Snowpiercer. He has no lines in the movie.Reference used. Lots of very annoying differences that I don't feel like correcting anymore. Anatomical problems = was too lazy and stupid to do a full sketch before refining.
I have missed painting people.

Pros: Your organic/painterly style is very appealing, and works extremely well with the piece's atmosphere. I particularly like the composition of the painting (attentive use of the rule of thirds, diagonals etc) and the colours you use to set the foreground off from the background. You clearly have an excellent grasp of the manipulation of colour and texture, and how to use that to create form.
Cons: Slight refining in the left corner could make the painting more appealing to the eye, as you have great detail in the center of the painting, but the observer's eye could be brought around full circle (golden ratio theory) if you hardened the lines a little more to follow the flow of colour (in particular that of the reddish tones).
Overall Impression: A very touching piece, rendered quite emotional through the innovative use of brushstrokes. Only upon close investigation can the anatomical 'issues' you mentioned be seen, and anyhow the human eye will readily excuse them as being caused by perspective. Overall the painting is very pleasing to look at, a good representation of character, and I frankly wish I had your level of raw talent.

Thanks for taking the time to critique! I agree I lose steam too fast with the backgrounds so they've been baby steps so far. Good idea with adding the red elsewhere to pick up the color of his jacket.
