Description Only in warm tropical climates will you find baby chicks in the winter! I came across these little guys while walking around the lake... I took a bunch of shots, but this one is the best.. It is a little blurry since I had to move to keep up with them, but I think it adds to the photo.

Ducklings are always so cute, no matter how ugly they might be when they grow up... Makes you want to scoop them up and cuddle them!

Cute shot, they must have looked so adorable when they were running I like the fact that there is a mix in their colours and not just a group of yellow ducks... Yes i agree, the blur does add to the photo

She was just ahead of them... the mother is a Muscovy duck, so I really did not want to put her in the photograph and ruin the cutesy image

Yeah, they were really running fast from me, I think it would have been funny to have a video of me trying to keep up while squatting to keep a low shot

I am glad you like the motion blur, that is one of my favorite parts about this photo, but not many other people seemed to enjoy it... oh well, we all see things differently, but I am glad you see this one my way!

Ya, it was hard to keep a good focus on them and stay at the angle I had since they were trying to run away so fast! I plan on making another trip to the side of the lake again soon and I am hoping to see them again and get better photos...

Nice composition. I like the transition in color and texture from top to bottom (or vice versa). Sure they're a bit blurry, but still some good detail in there.
