While I've been working on my big ol project I've also been keeping up with my tutorials over on patreon. It's been long enough that I thought I ought to be sharing these by now.

I look around and I see a million 'how to shade' tutorials that focus on light sources, elements of the shadow, reflected light, blah blah blah, but none of them ever approach the processes used to get there. You're supposed to guess and check a million times with your brushes and that can take an eternity if you don't know what you're looking for or trying to do. This tutorial is here to help show what a few different types of brushwork look like, and where to place them.
