Please read description.I am currently limiting the number of rps I will do.
Things to consider:
I prefer paragraph/story style.
Capitalization, punctuation, and quality matter.
In general, longer is better. However...
I don't mind short posts some of the time, as long as you give me something to work with.
Your answers to the questions should be part of your 'intro post'. As in fitting the whole paragraph style rp format. And some form of character description should be included. Y'kinda gotta give me something to work with.
This is designed to go with giants, giant beings, or some form of intelligent predatory creature/being (naga, demi-dragon, dragon, etc)

Her gaze lowers as he mentions that she looks weak and hungry, finally nodding after a moment, "Weak... hungry... exhausted... It's been two days since I slept... Almost as long since I ate... And that was a single piece of fruit and some stale bread that was shared between five of us..." She shivered slightly, chilled easily because of malnutrition, her body lacking the fuel to properly cope with temperature changes. It didn't help that her clothes were tattered and barely intact. "You... really aren't going to hurt me?" She paused a moment, looking towards the kitchen, "...even helping me?" She was confused, unable to understand why he would spare her, much less help her.

Larkin nods and gets bit of cooked meat and fruit out of the fridge. "Yes. I really won't hurt you. I've never been the kind to hurt beings smaller than me.." he puts the meat and fruit on a plate on the counter, then gets out a shot glass and fills it with milk. You can sleep after you eat. That's the most important thing for you to do right now. If you slept you might not wake up.." he gently sets her down pn theplate next to the food and milk.

She looks at the food in apparent shock; it had been a long while since she had seen so much food, or food of decent quality. She moved closer hesitantly, then rushed to the glass, tilting it and trying to drink from it. It was clear she was having some trouble balancing it; even a shot glass was raher large compared to her, more like a large barrel than a drinking glass. Several times as she drank it spilled all over her, but she ignored it.
Once she'd drank for a while, she moved over to the food and started eating quickly, pausing a few times and coughing from going so fast. At this rate, she'd either choke or make herself ill.

Larkin blinks and gently picks her up. He looks at her and frowns slightly. "Slow down little one.. you're going to get sick or choke. Slow down. I promise you can have more if you're still hungry.. but please, try to slow down.." he gently sets her down again.

She seemed to panic when he pulled her away from the food, struggling desperately for a moment before calming enough to listen to him. She stared at him a moment, then nodded slightly. This time she ate slower, and after a little while, her exhaustion started catching up with her again. She looked ready to collapse, still soaked with the spilled milk, now apparently finished eating.

He gently scoops her up again, and holds her against his chest, carrying her to his bedroom, he wraps a clean rag around her and lays her on the pillow.

I pick the human up curiously, but gently. I had never held or eaten a human before...I wasn't going to eat her, but I heard my friend coming. He had eaten many humans before, and that was after teasing them cruelly. I had ignored it up to now, but...this human seemed so delicate, and so scared... I couldn't bear the thought of him eating her.
Quickly but softly I put her in my mouth, eyes widening at the wondeful flavor. But I had no time to enjoy, so I moved her to my cheek, careful to keep her away from my razor sharp fangs. I didn't want to hurt her, after all.

The girl panicked when he picked her up, squirming to try to get out of his grasp, desperate to escape. She cried out in fear when he put her in his mouth, trying first to hold onto his finger so she would get pulled back out, then trying to get out herself. With all her struggling and fighting, it was simply luck that she avoided injury from the fangs.
When he moved her to his cheek, she saw it as a potential opportunity, and moved as best she could, soon trying to force his lips open to get out. She was terrified, thinking she would end up like the others she had seen captured this day. She had heard so much screaming, seen so much death... She had good reason to be terrified and panicked, but it certainly wouldn't make it easy on him.

At first I try to keep her still, praying that my friend wouldn't notice. "Hey, what's up?" He asked. I glanced down worriedly. "U-Um, I have to go." The words are said as quickly as I can so he doesn't notice the slightly garbled tone. Turning, I slithered off as fast as I could, wincing as the girl kicked once more.

It wasn't long before she stopped struggling, too exhausted from a day of running from predators to keep going. After a money the naga would hear her crying, terrified and exhausted, too out of breath from running to scream. She thought she was as good as dead, believing she would end up like he many others that had been on the run today.
The other predator was puzzled by his friend's behavior, watching him hurry away. After a moment he decides he may as well keep hunting, he could ask about what happened later. This meant the naga would no longer have to be concerned about the human girl he caught being spotted, as others were all still preoccupied with trying to find the last couple humans.

Soon I reach my cave. There's one other problem I'll have to deal with, but I can think about that later. I spit the girl onto my palm. "Please, I am SO sorry, I just didn't want him to find you, please don't scream again!" I say the words as quickly as I can, trying to get them out before she has a chance to get terrified.

The frightened girl is curled up, hiding her face with her arms. She seemed to be fighting back sobbing. A moment after he spoke, she quieted, lowering her arms slowly as she glanced up at him, confused and frightened. After a moment, she speaks softly, her tone of voice making her fear and nervousness obvious, "You... aren't going to kill me?"

My heart tears in two at her obvious fear. "No. I'm not." It sickens me to think of hurting something so altogether...delicate, as her. It would be like crushing a flower.

She was clearly confused, still nervous and uncertain, but now showing just a hint of hope. She wiped the tears away from her face, still looking up at him. "But... If not... Then why? If you aren't... then why did you grab me? You really aren't going to kill me? You aren't going to eat me?" She wiped at the tears on her face again, trying to keep focused on what he was saying, trying to figure out if he was lying. She wanted to believe him, but after being chased by, and seeing so many others devoured by his kind, she couldn't help but worry that he might just eat her later. Perhaps he had noticed how thin she was, that the constant fleeing from different predators offered little time to eat... What if this predator brought her back so that he could 'prepare' a larger meal? Or what if he just didn't want a meal covered in dirt from running?

"I grabbed you because my friend back there eats humans. And that's after torturing them. I usually ignore it, but...I dunno, I just didn't feel like watching it again. I've never eaten a human before." I wince slightly as a rib stands out against the dirt covering her. "How...how long have you been running? You're skin and bones, not to mention filthy." I can't help but feel guilty for the actions of my kind.

She looked away slightly, frowning, "Five times I've seen villages I was staying in destroyed... Its not been easy to stay alive... The last few times... I had ways to protect myself, to escape... but... its been so exhausting... I just had no energy, no strength to try to..." She shook her head, "I was trying to help in protecting the villages I stayed in... but I'm just not good enough at what I do... I'm not as skilled, as experienced... I don't know how long I've been on the run... I just know that its been exhausting..."

I lower my gaze slightly. My own kind had done this. I feel ashamed just to be one of them. "Well, I can offer you food and a safe place to sleep. You could probably wash some of that dirt off in the river, too."

She was frowning slightly, looking downward. "I would like a drink and to wash up... Sleep would be nice... It's been two days since I slept..." She looked up at him after a moment, still obviously nervous, "You really aren't going to kill me? I... I know your kind like the taste of humans..."

"Well, the taste isn't really worth it when you think about what's in your mouth. Not at all. Would you like to rinse off first, or sleep?"

"I think I'll sleep better when I'm cleaned up... And it'll give me a chance to get a drink." She looked away, still confused about the situation and worried about what could still go wrong. "You said you aren't going to kill me... You said I'll be safe here... but what are you wanting in return? Why were you out there if not to hunt? If you aren't going to kill me, what are you going to do?"

"Okay, then." I answer her questions as I slither towards the river. It's in a secluded clearing, so we shouldn't have to worry about another nagabseeing us. "I was just hanging out with that other naga. He's my best friend, and he has been for years. He was...well, he was hungry. I don't really have anything planned for you. You can just stay here until you want to leave."

She was quiet for a while as he carried her to the clearing, listening to what he said. When she finally did speak, her voice didn't hold as much fear as before... Her tone was more sad than frightened, "Stay here... until I want to leave. And where would I go? So many villages have been destroyed... All the ones I knew the locations of... There was a couple of people in our group who knew the locations of a couple other villages... But I saw what happened to them... So I'm alone now. Everyone I know has been eaten, and the only people who could guide me to where there are others were killed today."
She hurried over to the water once she was at ground level, first taking a long drink before glancing back at him, "You said you were there to spend time with a friend... A close friend. It immediately occurred to her that this really wasn't as safe as he tried to assure her it was. "Close friends have a tendency to visit one another's homes. I gather the impression you left unexpectedly... Which makes it likely that such a close friend would stop by to check on you.... It sounds like even if you do genuinely want to help... I don't have much time left."

I turn to look at her, my eyes snapping with anger. "You really think that I would let that happen? I may be a monster, but I'm not a liar." My voice is full of self-disgust. "You will stay here until you want to leave. I won't force you to stay, and I won't force you to leave. You can stay as long as you need to. As for my friend, well, he will either understand, or I will make him understand. I'm a rather...dangerous race of naga. A dying breed, if you will."

She cringed at his tone of voice, believing it meant he was angry at her. Her expression showed obvious fear; she was afraid that if she angered him, it could mean the end of her. It wasn't surprising she would be suspicious and wary; it made perfect sense for her to be hesitant to trust him. After all, he was the same species as the creatures that had devoured the others out there.
She backed up some, forgetting briefly where she was and tumbling into the water. She stood quickly, but didn't return to the shore, instead standing in the water as she stared up at him. The water was helping to rinse her off, but she wasn't making any genuine effort to clean herself up. She just watched him afraid of him lashing out somehow because of what she said, afraid it could mean he would just let his friend eat her because he was angry.
"I... I'm sorry... I didn't know... I couldn't... I'm just... scared... confused..."

My face softens as I sigh. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. It's just...I hate it that you keep thinking you're going to die. Youre safe with me, although I know you don't have much reason to trust me. I am a monster, after all. By the way...that naga from earlier? He's kind of...my roommate. But don't worry. I'll rip his throat out if he even tries to hurt you."

My expression softens, and I let out a heaving sigh. "No, I'm the one who should be sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just...I hate that you keep thinking you're going to die. You are safe, though I know you have no real reason to believe me. But think about it, I could have just swallowed you earlier, instead of spitting you out. By the way...I should probably mention...that naga from earlier? He's kind of...my roommate. So you'll be seeing him a lot sooner than you think."

"I... I understand you wanted to help me... you could have killed me... but...I guess I'm afraid you may... change your mind... that I might do something that makes you decide to..." She looked downward, giving a slight shudder, "And... your friend..." She paused, just now registering what he said about his friend, "Your roommate? Seeing him soon?" She took a step backwards, and lost her balance on the slick rocks in the river. She fell over and yelped with a bit of pain, and managed to stand back up with some effort, "I saw him... he caught several... but... What if when he comes back he hadn't caught enough?" She wrapped her arms around herself, shivering a bit from the cold temperature of the river water.

"If he hasn't eaten enough, he can go chew on some deer. I won't let him kill you. And as for changing my mind...I know it may be hard, but please, don't think of me as some monster saving his snack for later. I won't change my mind about wanting to help you. I mean, would you kill someone if you got a little angry at them? I dont know much about humans, but I'm pretty sure they don't do that. Hey, um...are you cold? You're shivering. Maybe we should go back."

She looks away a moment, "Its hard not to think about what I've seen so much of lately..." She shivered again, nodding when he asked if she was cold, "Water's cold... but glad I washed up finally..." She started to walk forward out of the water, completely soaked. The water caused her clothes to cling to her, making it rather obvious how thin she was.
She stumbled a bit after she was on dry land, pausing to lean against a rock for a moment. She was a bit pale, and from how she was moving, it was obvious that now that the adrenaline from the chase had worn off, she was exhausted. From how she looked and how she was moving, it wouldn't at all be surprising if she collapsed.

I move my hand towards her slowly, not wanting to startle her. "Maybe I should carry you now. You're going to pass out, I can already tell. It's all right if you want to sleep, I'm going to have to carry you back anyways. Go ahead and rest."

She looked up as he slowly reached for her, tensing slightly, but not trying to back away or even cringing. She was nervous, but seeming to show just a hint of trust, accepting him picking her up rather than trying to avoid it. It was possible she was simply too tired to struggle further... But if that had been case, if she had still lacked any trust, it was likely she would have at least cringed. It was a small step towards getting past her fear and mistrust, but a step in the right direction none-the-less.

I scoop her up gently with one hand, smiling to myself that she didn't see very afraid. Once I've straightened up, I start going back. "In fact, you'll probably want to go to sleep. My roommate will most likely be back, and I doubt you'd like to see him."

She looked up at him as he mentioned his roommate, giving a shudder as she considered the danger. "P... promise you won't let him have me? Won't let him hurt me?" She was clearly frightened of the roommate after what she had seen today, knowing that she was too weak from exhaustion and malnutrition to attempt escape if the predator grabbed her. She tried to think over anything that might help discourage the roommate from trying to eat her, and after a moment actually thought of something that might keep the predator from viewing her as food, "Maybe he... Maybe he would be less likely to look at me as food if you told him I was a pet or something... It might make more of an impact than just telling him you don't want me hurt." She tried to fight back a yawn; exhausted, but also afraid of what might happen as she slept.

My eyes widen. She would really be okay with that? I can understand that it might make him easier to deal with, but then...he would treat her like an animal. The very thought makes me sick. For years, I have tried to see humans as nothing but snacks, or unimportant pests. Tried. Still, traces of guilt always pop up when I see my friends torture them while I simply leer in the background. But now...I've talked to her, seen
just how advanced humans really are. I knew, I knew that humans weren't animals. I just never admitted it to myself. And she wants me to call her a pet? "Are you sure? I don't know if that would be quite...right. Just unethical, I suppose."

She was quiet a moment, looking away, "Some may see it as a degrading term... But I just thought it might work well to assure your roommate won't... He won't have me join the others he caught. I just want to do what is most likely to keep me alive... I figured a friend would be unlikely to steal... I just want to be safe.."

I grimace. "There's only one problem with that idea. If I say I want you as a pet, he's likely to think that I'll get bored of you eventually. And then you know what happens. He'll think that I will, at some point, eat you."

She looked away, frowning, "Not everyone gets bored of pets... And if he does think that, if or when I want to leave, I'll just go when he's not around and he'll assume that's what happened... So he won't think to look for me to eat me himself."

"But then, if he does think I'm going to eat you, then he might think of it as nothing more than stealing a snack." Now I'm just trying to think of reasons not to call her a pet. The idea kind of sickens me.

"But that's not what you are saying... if you say I'm a pet, until otherwise, it means a companion... it just sounds like the best way to convince your friend not to hurt me... if you just tell them you wanted to save me... they might think they are doing you a favor in getting rid of me so you don't start trying to save more..." She sighed, looking downward, "I'm sorry... I'm just scared, I just... I just don't want to be killed..."

"It's fine. You have every reason to be nervous. It's just...I don't know. I've tried to convince myself that humans are nothing but animals all these years, to make it easy on myself when I knew that wasn't true. I could have done something. But now...to call you a pet, It just seems ironic, in a sick sort of way."

She looked downward, "You do what you want... I just thought... It's better to be called your pet than to be your roommate's snack..." She gave a slight shudder, nervous about what he had said about his roommate, but also exhausted from running, lack of food, as well as lack of sleep; only barely able to remain conscious... She wanted desperately to sleep, but feared what would happen when the predatory friend came home.

I notice the clear exhaustion on her features, and my expression gentles. "Well, you can go ahead and sleep. I'll figure it out, okay? You're safe, and you're about to pass out. Just rest. You need it. I can promise you that, no matter what happens, I will NOT let him but you."

She tilted her head to look up at him, her eyes moist. "You... are sure?" She shivered slightly, a bit cold from her brief time cleaning up in the river. "I just... I don't... I don't want to..." She was too tired, muttering the last part as she finally passed out from exhaustion.

I give a sigh, curling my fingers over her for a little extra warmth. This...this is NOT going to be fun. Slithering into the cave, something attacks me from the side. "Bro! Where have you been, I was looking for you!" A naga with red scales, and matching fiery hair, grins at me, his arm slung around my shoulders. "Hey, Camber." He sniffs. "Oh, so you're eating humans now? But why is she asleep?" I shake my head, regretfully telling him the whole story. His eyebrow raises. "So...you're saving a human?" I nod, and he gives out a sigh. "You always were a weird guy, not hunting them or anything, but we've been friends since we were kids. I guess I can let it slide." I give him a fanged grin. "Thanks, bud! I was worried you'd try and eat her or something..."

The friend shrugs slightly, "Naw, I won't eat your little pet. Might have a little fun and tease her, but I won't hurt your pet. Just don't make a habit of it. If you start having a bunch of humans running around here, then I don't think it'll be so easy to resist temptation, especially on days when hunting is poor. So just leave it at the one, okay?" He looked down at the girl, then shook his head, rolling his eyes. "So have you at least tasted her? If you really don't want to hunt humans, maybe at the least you can enjoy the taste a bit."
The girl stirred a bit in her sleep, moving to lay more comfortably on her side. He looked down at her, then shook his head, "A human in the house... this will be interesting. So where are you going to have her sleep?"
